NORTH BUCKS DFAS - SPECIAL INTEREST DAYS

Special Interest Days (SIDs) are held twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, and give members the opportunity to study subjects in a more intimate setting than the monthly lectures. Numbers are restricted to around 40. The lecturers are usually NADFAS accredited and lectures can be on any topic. Of course, we are always open to suggestions.

The SIDs take place in the Function Suite at the Carlton Club, 38 High Street, Olney MK46 4BB. There is parking behind the Club and access for those with mobility issues.

If you are interest in any of our SIDs, please make a note in your Diary. Tickets are sold at the three lectures prior to the SID, or contact Nadyne Coles. We look forward to seeing you.

The next SID will be on Tuesday 31st October 2017. The subject is ‘Radiance and Beauty: A study day in Stained Glass’ presented by Roger Rosewell.

Bookings at the lectures in June, September and October 2017.

The first of our SIDs next year will be on Tuesday 24 April 2018. The subject is ‘Pre- Raphaelite Design Connections from William Morris to William de Morgan’ presented by Dr Sally Hoban.

Bookings at the lectures in February, March and April 2018.

It will be followed on Tuesday 13 November 2018 by a day on ‘Music in the Great Art Collections of Europe’ presented by Peter Medhurst.
